3.18.04 - The Pinkin fell to
Isabela 3-2 tonight in very tight game at Corozal. Corozal played
without Jessica Candelario, who is taking part on an international
competition of high-school volleyball in Chipre, and Jacque Robinson
(shoulder), and gave its best to take the match to a decisive
fifth-game. Corozal now faces Ponce Friday, March 19th at the Leonas
home gym.
Corozal is now 1-3 in
the playoff with three matches to go. The best scorers for Corozal
were Jessenia Resto with 35 points and Anais Urdaz with 22. For
Isabela, Dana Stearn scored 23.
